The 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) opened on Thursday in Shenzhen, south China’s Guangdong Province, and will run until Saturday.

Over 5,000 well-known companies and international organizations from more than 100 countries and regions are attending the event hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government.

Among the participants are more than 180 Fortune 500 companies, China’s central state-owned enterprises, over 1,000 listed companies, and more than 2,000 gazelle and unicorn companies.

The event aims to showcase the latest global hi-tech trends and achievements, while facilitating the trade and exchange of hi-tech products and technologies worldwide.

More than 4,300 new technologies and products will be released at the event, which will also feature over 160 forums and activities.

This year’s CHTF features 20 top fast-growing sectors, including Chinese heavy equipment, tech industry chains, artificial intelligence and robots, IT infrastructure and big data, clean energy, high-end machinery manufacturing, environmental protection, medicine and medical laboratories, semiconductor and integrated circuits, intelligent agriculture, new energy, low-altitude economy, railway equipment and new materials.
