The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 17 this year. China Media Group (CMG) has announced that its Mid-Autumn Festival Gala is going to take place in Shenyang City, northeast China’s Liaoning Province.
The main stage of the show will be set by Dingxiang Lake, the largest lake in Shenyang.
Blending modern technology and natural beauty, the stage will create a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere, as the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunions.
Shenyang is a city with more than 2,000 years of history. Three world cultural heritages sites and over 1,500 historical and cultural sites can be found in the ancient city. It is also one of the most well-known industrial cities in China, creating a number of “firsts” for the country, including the first car and the first common lathe.
“We will deliver a visually inventive show that fully integrates Chinese traditional culture and the local color of Shenyang,” said Li Shen and Jing Xin, directors of the gala.
