The scenic area of St. Sophia Cathedral in Harbin, northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, undergoes continual innovation, with a dreamy light-and-shadow show appearing during the New Year period. Through technological means, the scenic area has upgraded a popular “artificial moon” and combined virtual projection with the real moon.

The light-and-shadow show is set to be performed twice each night, with an additional performance during holidays, and will last until February 28, 2025.
